The Sakura Championship 2025 Season 1 was a remarkable journey, hosted and organized by Owais Automobiles, with generous support from sponsors Jacked Nutrition, Domino’s, Greeno, Red Apple, and Gatorade. Owais Automobiles stands as the leading organization promoting tape ball cricket festivities for young talent in Karachi, featuring eight teams from across the city. We witnessed nail-biting matches and high-pressure games from the group stages all the way to the thrilling finale. Special thanks go to the CEO, Mr. Talha Ahmed Butt, whose dedication and leadership made this mega event possible. His efforts have inspired even more teams to participate in the upcoming season.

The Fleetguard Champions League was a blockbuster event held in January 2023. Six of the toughest teams from across Pakistan — including Hyderabad, Karachi, Nawabshah, Lahore, and Quetta — competed fiercely at the Eidgah Ground. For the first time, Owais Automobiles introduced SMD boundary lights and a large SMD screen displaying the live scorecard, enhancing the viewing experience for the audience. Owais Automobiles also hosted a dinner buffet for guests and spectators, with a total attendance of 375 people throughout the event. Media partners such as GEO Super, GTV, K92 News, and Channel 21 contributed significantly, providing tremendous coverage and helping make the Fleetguard Champions League a truly mega event.

The Ruby Plaza Super League 2021 marked the beginning of Owais Automobiles’ journey in promoting tape ball cricket. This outstanding event, spearheaded by Mr. Talha Ahmed Butt, CEO, featured six competitive teams and set the stage for a thrilling tournament. Owais Automobiles’ official team, the Ruby Tigers, emerged as champions, establishing a lasting legacy as the leading winning tape ball team in Pakistan.
